Illinois Contraceptive Access Now (ICAN!) announces a competitive funding opportunity to build health centers’ capacity to provide same-day access to all FDA-approved birth control methods at low or no cost

As we contend with attacks on reproductive rights, a pandemic highlighting the need for more equitable healthcare delivery, and an economic crisis disproportionately affecting women and women of color, ICAN! seeks to create a national model for establishing high-quality TRUER Contraceptive Care as an essential and routine part of whole-person preventive and primary care.     This award will support health centers through clinical training, technical assistance, and capacity building to elevate and sustain TRUER Contraceptive Care for all patients of reproductive age. Upon achievement of key milestones, participating health centers will be invited to join the ICAN! Quality Hub (QH) network, earning a designation as a contraceptive care Quality Hub in ICAN!’s online provider directory and receiving in-kind marketing support to drive health center patient volume.   Learn more!   We invite you to: Review and download the full Request for Engagement (RFE) and application or share them with partners who might be interested.
