This month, AllianceChicago was awarded as a winning finalist in the HRSA Innovation Challenge. The winning project involved the implementation of a chatbot-enabled patient engagement program at Settlement Health in New York. The program exemplified “innovative collaboration,” as expressed in our mission statement – merging the application of cutting-edge technology and partnership with a vendor, Qliqsoft and Settlement Health.

We are grateful for the external recognition, but most proud of our outcomes. We engaged with more than 1,630 patients and witnessed significant improvements in well-child care, immunizations, mammograms, and enrollment in remote blood pressure monitoring. Even more gratifyingly, both patients and Health Center staff embraced the technology and were eager to go further.
